The lineage of Aroma Fragrance has been a bridge between the palace walls and the artisan’s fire. Our journey began in the 17th century, not as mere subjects, but as masters of the Deg (still) who moved where the scent was required.

When the Mughal patronage was obsessed with 'Itar-i-Jahangiri'—the legendary rose oil discovered by Empress Nur Jahan—our ancestors were the ones called to the royal workshops of Fatehpur Sikri to refine the dew-laden petals. While the court perfumers were focused on the Empress’s personal vanity, we were in the background, lending a hand in the distillation of 'Shamama', a complex blend of 40 herbs and resins that only a few hands knew how to balance without burning.

We didn't just work for them; we learned from them. We saw how they used Ambergris to fix a scent for a lifetime, and how they layered Oudh-e-Hindi with liquid gold. But when the royal workshops eventually went cold, those secrets didn't vanish. They lived in our family’s heartbeat.

Our journey took those imperial formulas out of the palaces and into the dust of the road—from the refined air of Lucknow to the vibrant streets of Delhi. In 1947, when the map of the world changed, we carried those 'borrowed' royal secrets across the border into Pakistan. Today, we don’t just make perfume; we bottle the same 'Gili Mitti' and 'Khas' that once scented the marble corridors of Agra, preserved by a lineage that refused to let the fire under the still go out.

Emperor Jahangir himself favored our attars, often using them and presenting them as prestigious gifts to his esteemed guests. This royal patronage and recognition propelled our legacy forward, ensuring that our dedication to perfumery excellence continued through the centuries.
